Our Path
Research in Conditioning
REICON grew out of corrosion protection research at the Institute for Energetics in Leipzig. Dr. Erwin Czempik began that work, and the company still builds on it. The name is short for Research in Conditioning. Founded in 1992, REICON is family owned and run today by Ronny Wagner in the second generation.
Our Mission
Chemistry That Holds Through Start, Stop and Shutdown
Power plants no longer run continuously. Flexible dispatch means starts, stops and idle periods, and the water chemistry has to stay controlled through all of them. Our work is to keep corrosion and iron transport under control in that regime: during operation, during cycling, and in the hours after a plant goes offline, when corrosion begins immediately.
